Nicholas J. Grimaudo and Thomas D. Sims accepted into the Florida Fellows Institute of the American College of Trust and Estate Counsel

Florida Fellows Institute Logo TaglineNicholas J. Grimaudo and Thomas D. Sims have been accepted into the inaugural class of the Florida Fellows Institute of the American College of Trust and Estate Counsel (ACTEC).

Nicholas Grimaudo holds four degrees from the University of Florida.  He received a B.A., cum laude, a M.S. in Management, a J.D., cum laude, and a LL.M. in Taxation, cum laude.

Thomas Sims also holds four degrees; a B.S. in Accounting, cum laude, from the University of Florida, a Masters in Accounting from the University of Florida, a J.D. from Emory University and an LL.M. in Taxation from the University of Florida.

The Florida Fellows Institute was created by Florida ACTEC Fellows to develop the profession’s future leaders in trust and estate law through a series of in-depth educational presentations led by outstanding subject matter experts in each field from across the U.S.

The institute includes six sessions for lawyers who were nominated by a Florida ACTEC Fellow and selected through a competitive application process. The program begins in September 2015 and concludes in May 2016.

The American College of Trust and Estate Counsel is a national organization of lawyers elected to membership by demonstrating the highest level of integrity, commitment to the profession, competence and experience as trust and estate counselors.
