Melodie “Dee” Menzer has joined the firm’s St. Petersburg office. Her practice areas will include tax planning for transactions, choice of entity selection for businesses, business restructuring, and acquisitions and dispositions of businesses.
Dee has experience in tax and business planning for entrepreneurs and high net worth individuals. She consults on the establishment of business entities, shareholder agreements, operating agreements, and other business agreements.
Dee received a B.S. from the University of Miami, a J.D. from the Elon University School of Law, and an LL.M. in Taxation from the University of Florida, Levin College of Law. She is admitted to the Florida Bar and the North Carolina Bar. While at the Elon University School of Law, Dee was awarded the North Carolina State Bar Pro Bono Service Award, as well as the David Gergen Award for Leadership and Professionalism for her dedication to leadership within the law school, service to the broader community, and academic excellence.
